The Society for Information Management (SIM) is a not-for-profit organization of information technology experts, including CIO's, CTO's and emerging IT leaders, as well as key professionals within the IT community, such as academicians and consultants. SIM's mission is to support IT leaders in the greater Colorado area by increasing the knowledge base of members, giving back to local communities, increasing awareness on issues of importance to our local community, developing the next generation of effective IT leaders and establishing a forum to bring together IT professionals across industries.
Deadline for nominations is March 2, 2012, 5 PM.
Once you've completed the nomination form you will receive an email confirming your submission.
All nominations will be reviewed by a panel of senior technology leaders and the finalists will be contacted in May.

About Tracy E. Houston
As a board advisor and executive coach to directors and senior officers she provides input on high level, sensitive and complex issues. Houston, with six years of experience as a sitting director, was one of the nation's youngest women to sit on a board in the electric utility sector where she provided leadership during a period of industry change driven by deregulation, privatization, technology and globalization forces. She is the past chairman of the board of the International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology. Her executive coaching focus is leadership presence and strategic engagement which she expounds on in her book entitled, Leading By Belonging: A Pathway to Knowing Yourself. Her latest eBook -Becoming a Director on a Public Company Board will be published in February 2012
Ms Houston has provided strategic counsel at congressional, state and local levels with appointments that include the presidential task force that developed Colorado's Report on Race Relations, Energy Advisory Committee in the office of United States Congressman Coffman, Economic Development Advisory Committee in the office of United States Congressman Beauprez and Colorado's Statehouse Small Business Report.

Tracy's formal education includes a Bachelor of Science, Business Management from Metropolitan State College. Her graduate studies were completed at the University of Denver.
Tracy is an avid hiker and recently backpacked in the Grand Canyon.
