Established in 1968, the Society for Information Management (SIM) is the premier network for IT leaders comprised of nearly 3,000 members, including CIOs, senior IT executives, prominent academicians, consultants, and other IT leaders.

SIM is a community of thought leaders who share experiences and rich intellectual capital that is applied, and who explore future IT direction. In partnership with its 30 chapters, SIM provides resources and programs inspired by IT leaders for IT leaders that enable CIOs to further develop the leadership capabilities of themselves and the key and emerging leaders in their organizations. SIM provides the collective voice to advocate policy and legislation on behalf of the IT profession across industries.

Programs for the 2010 year are expected to be just as exciting!

Our Colorado chapter of SIM is the forum for access to SIM International opportunities. SIM objectives include:
  • Increasing the knowledge base of SIM members and associates.
  • Acting as the voice of the IT community on critical issues.
  • Giving back to local communities.
  • Developing the next generation of effective IT leaders.
To join the SIM Colorado Chapter or SIM International, you can either sign-up using our online registration form. Progressive IT leaders from various companies of size and industries are included in our new chapter since it's inception in March of 2005. Check back frequently as new members join monthly.
